A Way to Never Forget the 343 Firefighters—and Support the Families of Fallen Firefighters
On Saturday, September 7, 2024, firefighters and supporters from across the country will gather for the Wiregrass 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb at the Enterprise High School Football Stadium.

This event is a way to honor and remember the FDNY firefighters who selflessly gave their lives so that others might live on September 11, 2001—and let their families and   colleagues know that we remember.
Register online at Wiregrass 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb . Enterprise High School Football Stadium, 1801 Boll Weevil Circle; Onsite registration: 7:00 am; Opening ceremony: 8:00 am; Climb begins 8:15 am; Fee is $30.

Each climber pays tribute to an FDNY firefighter by climbing the steps at the Enterprise High School
Football Stadium for a total of 110 stories, representing the number of floors in the Twin Towers.
Participants will receive an honorary badge of one of the fallen heroes of September 11th.
The 9/11 Memorial Stair Climbs fund the programs provided by the NFFF to support the families of your

local fallen firefighters and the FDNY Counseling Service Unit.

In an effort to decrease heat-related instances and contamination, we are urging participants to climb in
athletic gear and not bring full turnout gear.   For more information, please see the NFFF Statement on

PFAS in Firefighter Turnout Gear

About the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation (NFFF)

The United States Congress created the NFFF to lead a nationwide effort to remember America's fallen
firefighters. Since 1992, the non-profit foundation has developed and expanded programs to honor
fallen fire heroes and assist their families and co-workers.  The NFFF also works with the fire service to
help prevent and reduce line-of-duty deaths and injuries.  For more information on the Foundation
