SLOCOMB: This morning Slocomb Fire - Rescue sent a ambulance to Children's Hospital in Birmingham to transport the body of a precious little 6 year old angel, Rylan Cobb who was involved in a tragic accident in Geneva County this past Saturday.
On Tuesday GOD called this ANGEL home to heaven.
Rylan's family made the decision for her to be a organ donor before life support was disconnected. So Rylan will live on through her gifts to other people in need.
As Slocomb Fire - Rescue arrived near Slocomb, Slocomb Police Chief Scotty Howerton, ALEA - SBI Captain David Hall, ALEA - Trooper met Slocomb Fire - Rescue and escorted precious Rylan to Sorrell's Funeral Home in Slocomb.
RSN was honored to be a part of this escort and livestream so that Rylan's family that were unable to attend could see the escort and people honoring this precious child.
Rylan's mother lost her life on the scene, Tiffany Cobb. Her dad and another child remains in the hospital. Rylan's grandmother is in Pensacola with the other child in the hospital.
Please remember this family in your prayers. Contributions to help with funeral expenses can be made directly to Sorrell's Funeral Home in Slocomb if anyone wants to contribute and help the family.
THANKS to Slocomb Fire - Rescue for bringing Rylan home, free of charge to the family, and for the people who turned out to pay their respects.
