HOUSTON COUNTY: Cowarts Fire, Ashford Fire and Ashford Rescue responded to a report of a motor vehicle crash on US 84 at Broadway in Avon. Reports are one person unresponsive and entrapped. One units from Pilcher’s was also requested.
Three people were transported by ambulance to the hospital. All three were Trauma Alerts due to mechanism of Injury.
Houston County Sheriff’s Office and Ashford Police also responded. The area where the crash occurred is closed until it can be cleaned up. The cause of the crash is under investigation by the Alabama State Troopers.
