GORDON: 3:23 PM. Houston County Sheriff 911 dispatched emergency units to Highway 84 East and Highway 95 to a motor vehicle accident.
The initial reports were a female was laying in the roadway.
On the arrival of emergency units the female was laying in the roadway with complaints of back pain. The injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
Responding to the scene Gordon Volunteer Fire, Lucy Fire First Responders, Ashford Volunteer Fire, Houston County Sheriff Deputies, Gordon Police and Alabama State Troopers.
Ashford Volunteer Rescue transported one patient, emergency transport, to SAMC.
Alabama State Troopers Shane Rogers and Cpl. Tracy McCord are investigating the accident. Houston County Sheriff Deputies Cpl. Josh Nowell and Deputy Brandon Martin and Gordon Police Chief Anderson were on the scene.
