3:49 PM... Armed Robbery at the Shell on West Main

DOTHAN: At 3:49 PM... A 911 call came into the Dothan Police dispatched about an armed robbery at the Shell station in the 800 block of West Main. The suspect an elderly black male armed with a knife went behind the counter pulled the knife on the clerk and took allegedly took a pack of cigarettes.
The suspect then left the store on foot. Police (K-9) responding to the call spotted the suspect in front of McDonalds and made contact with him. The suspect was quickly taken into custody with the weapon still on him.
