SAMSON:    8:54 AM.   On Saturday former Samson Police Officer Chad Green is alleged to have shot and killed his girlfriend.


This morning we spoke with Geneva County Sheriff Tony Helms to see if any updated information overnight.


Chad Green is reported to be driving a 2017 red Toyota Tacoma with Alabama License plates CHAD1.


Green is considered armed and dangerous.


The case is investigated by Samson Police Department, Geneva County Sheriff Department, Geneva County Coroner’s Office, District Attorney Office of the 33rd Judicial District, and Alabama State Bureau of Investigation.
