DEREK WRIGHT FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY 

IS OPEN FOR BUSINESS IN HENRY COUNTY ALABAMA

HEADLAND:     It seems that current established funeral homes in and around

Headland/Henry County are scared of competition.

"Someone" filed a complaint against Derek Wright and Wright Funeral Home and Crematory with the Alabama Board of Funeral Service. 

Derek Wright just opened the doors of a modern 2019 funeral home and crematory on Highway 431 at Headland.  Prior to making the decision to branch out and open his own funeral home Derek Wright was employed by Holman - Headland and Holman - Abbeville Mortuaries as a funeral director and embalmer. 

When Derek and his family made the decision to open needless to say John Robert Holman and Russell Holman terminated is employment with their funeral homes. The third partner, who his estate has not been settled yet Norman Holman was deceased. So none of Norman Holman's heir's had any part in the decision of John Robert Holman and Russell Holman  to terminate Derek from employment with Holman - Headland and Holman Abbeville Mortuaries.

In March 2019 ( understand it is July 2019 and Derek Wright Funeral Home just opened ), Perine and E. Denise Grogan learned that Derek Wright was opening a funeral home. On March 5, 2019 the Grogan's started stalking Derek Wright's FACEBOOK page and making copies. Do you think that was just out of the blue?

On March 6, 2019 Grogan viewed that Derek Wright's FACEBOOK indicated the availability of funeral services. The facebook page displayed information, reviews, phone numbers, and times of operation. The Facebook page also displayed the availability of funeral services prior to being open.

The availability of obituaries were shared as a link on Wright Funeral Home FACEBOOK page. But the doors of Derek Wright Funeral Home were not officially opened because the building was still under construction and working to be completed.

On March 5, 2019 Perine of the Alabama Board of Funeral Service contacted Derek Wright and informed him that Derek Wright Funeral Home could  not operate until all requirements of the Code of Alabama were met. Even thought the Alabama Board of Funeral Service had let another one do so. All of a sudden now it was not possible.

Derek Wright, who is honest, told the Alabama Board of Funeral Service that some families contacted him. But the funerals were done through funeral homes he worked part time with. The same as another funeral home did year ago!

The Alabama Board of Funeral Service, under pressure from established funeral homes in and around Henry County, was forced to make charges against Derek Wright that people had contacted him and he conducted funerals through other funeral homes at families requests.

Wright was prepared to fight these allegations. But sometimes to get crap over with and move on, you settle. Realize bureaucrats like the Alabama Board of Funeral Services were in a position of extortion, blackmail and financial ruin of Derek Wright Funeral Home and Crematory. They could have held up his license and prevented him from opening had he not agreed to their terms and settled the case.

So Derek took the course of settling the allegations in order to open the doors and serve the pubic and make a honest living in the service to the people of Henry County.

THREATS AND INTIMIDATION   

Funeral Homes in and around Henry County have made threats to businesses and financial institutions they would carry their business elsewhere if they allowed Derek Wright financial funding to construct and open a funeral home and crematory.

Some in and around Henry County in the funeral home business have made the statement with the construction of the new and modern facility that has diminished the value of current funeral homes if they were to sell.

Some funeral homes in and around Henry County have had monopolies on the funeral home business for decades. With hometown boy Derek Wright making the family decision to construct a new and modern facility in Henry County has other people in and around Henry County, well pissed.

And they or others they got to, have filed crap in order to hurt or prevent the new establishment from opening.

A FUNERAL HOME   

A funeral home offers families compassionate service to help them through their time of need. The funeral home is sincere, honest, and guides the family through the series of events of the respect their loved one deserves and protects them from spending a fortune in items not needed but were being sold as "emotional" items during one of the most vulnerable times in a persons life.

DEREK WRIGHT   

Derek Wright and his family has been in and around Henry County all of his life. He talked with the current funeral home about purchasing their business before making the decision to construct a new and modern facility. After those talks failed Derek made the decision to build a state of the art facility to serve the people of Henry County.

SOMEONE IS JEALOUS  

Someone in or around Henry County is jealous that Derek Wright is opened and operating a funeral  home. They have case threats and demeaning remarks towards Derek during the time of the construction. If I can obtain the name of the person who filed the complaint I will post it.

But someone is afraid that the fine citizens of Henry County will make a choice that Derek Wright Funeral Home and Crematory is their choice in a time of need.

AND THE COMPLAINT

Can be used instead of Charmin. All it is - garbage of someone being a spineless coward afraid the Derek Wright Funeral Home and Crematory has opened their doors.
