HENRY COUNTY:    Making sure everyone is clear about the Henry County Sheriff race.

1. Will Maddox, the incumbent Henry County Sheriff is seeking re-election as Henry County Sheriff. His name will not appear on the ballot until the November General election.

2. On June 5 two people are seeking election as party nominee to run against Incumbent Sheriff Will Maddox.

3. The two seeking party nomination to run against Incumbent Henry County Sheriff Will Maddox are on the June 5 ballot. Those are Incumbent Henry County Commissioner Jay Calhoun and 20th Judicial Circuit District Attorney Investigator Jay Henry.

4. On June 5, either Jay Calhoun or Jay Henry will be the party nominee. The nominee will then square off in Novemher against a Incumbent Henry County Sheriff Will Maddox.

The Republican Party In Henry County is like a cult. Incumbent Sheriff Will Maddox discussed seeking election as a Republican.

But the Republican leadership is sorta like a cult and managed like a cult. The Republican cult leadership felt like Will Maddox got one of the Republican Cult leaders defeated who was in public office.

So The got the Republican cult leaders of the local, party to deny Will Maddox to seek election as a Republican.

Now the above description is going to chap some of the cult members buttocks. But it is a factual statement.

Hope that explains it where easy to understand.
