GENEVA - HOUSTON COUNTY:     The registered voters of Geneva and Houston County will report to the polls on June 5th to elect a member of the Alabama House of Representatives - District 87.

There are two men vying for the position, a banker and an attorney.

For several years I have had the pleasure of knowing Adam Parker. He served as an Assistant District Attorney for several years in the 20th Judicial Circuit. He did an outstanding job in that position, always fighting and standing up for victims.

Now Adam Parker is a private practicing attorney. One who fights for his clients and handles cases of different types. He is zealous and a fighter, very smart in the law and in common sense. 

Adam is married with one child and another on the way. As he and his wife began to look at society, the education system, the workforce, the available jobs, they discussed the future. WAIT and hope someone can make a difference or roll up their sleeves and go to work to help create a positive change for the future.

Adam being zealous and a fighter, in discussion with his wife, prayer and discussion with friends, decided he wanted to be one who made a difference.

Adam tells of former Dothan Mayor Jimmy Grant never giving up. His determination and drive brought SONY to Dothan. That determination, boldness to work, will serve Geneva and Houston County in order to bring improvements in quality of life.

Adam Parker connects with the people. He loves working. He loves listening. He is accustom to "representing" people and not "dictating" to people. So Adam Parker will be one who will listen and take your ideas to Montgomery being a "representative" of the people and not one who will shove his ideas.

On June 5 vote Adam Parker for District 87, Alabama House of Representatives in Geneva and Houston County.
