MONTGOMERY: A simple question; why is it that Alabama Kay Ivey has to recycle former Alabama Governor Bob Riley people and not be unique?
Governor Ivey - I actually had some high hopes for her.
ALABAMA DEPARTMENT OF LAW ENFORCEMENT
( ALEA )
But she puts as the 3rd Secretary of the "FAILED" Alabama Law Enforcement Agency ( ALEA ) Hal Taylor.
For those who are not aware of, Hal Taylor was the long time Security Chief to former Alabama Governor Bob Riley. Taylor's wife was the "appointment" secretary for former Alabama Governor Bob Riley. And Hal Taylor's wife is currently with former Alabama Governor Bob Riley's lobbying firm.
So far, the move of consolidation of Alabama Law Enforcement into one organization has been a complete failure. The first ALEA Secretary was Spencer Collier. He had more problems than could be medicated. And only when he lost his six figure job did he yell about Alabama Governor Robert Bentley.
If Bentley had kept paying Spencer Collier the six figure salary, Collier would have never said one word about Bentley.
But why recycle? Why not bring in people with unique ideas that will actually make positive changes and do something positive for the State of Alabama?
GOVERNOR'S LEGAL ADVISOR
For the life of me, why in the world Governor Ivey selected Former Alabama Governor Legal Advisor/Former Alabama State Senator Bryan Taylor as her Chief Legal Advisor.
It had to be after the whiskey bottles were open and she was not thinking correctly that she made this choice.
Taylor is the one that ran to one of the counties around Mobile - Baldwin or Escambia County wanting them to hire him. He wanted to go after the bingo.
This was a horrible selection. If Governor Ivey really has intentions of moving Alabama forward.
NEW BLOOD IS REQUIRED FOR A CHANGE
Is it so difficult for the folks in Montgomery Alabama to realize... it is time to move the "has beens" to the junk yard and bring in some new blood. New blood that actually wants Alabama to move forward, to progress. Some new blood that actually thinks public service is actually "making things better for everyone" and not a certain elite group.
Is Governor Kay Ivey not capable of making choices of people to serve that are not Bob Riley's recycle?
To ever move Alabama forward we need some people that are not "Montgomery minded", who want to serve for the right reason. And that is making the Great State of Alabama a better place to live, work and raise families.
And so far, Governor Ivey is failing in her selections of who she surrounds herself with.
