The Ashford Lions Club will be selling its famous Brunswick Stew on Saturday, February 16, 2019 at the Fresh Foods Market in Cowarts. Tickets are now available for advanced purchase from Lions Club members at $8 per quart. This cooking, $1000 of the proceeds will be donated to the Cody Strong Childhood Cancer Foundation. The Foundation’s mission is to raise awareness and funding for pediatric cancer and assist families who have a child battling childhood cancer.

Tickets may be reserved for payment when the stew is picked up by calling Guy Bruner at 334-803-9800 or Fran McArthur at 334-899-3679. Our stew freezes nicely and many customers buy it in quantity so they may enjoy it over time or gift it to family and friends. Get your tickets early because quantities are limited to 600 quarts. Stew must be picked up from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. unless different delivery arrangements are made in advance. Stew not picked up by 2 p.m. is subject to resale.
