Burglary Suspect Arrested

On 09/14/2015 Dothan Police responded to a commercial business in the 600 block of Columbia Highway. It was determined that eleven vehicles had been burglarized.


On 10/20/15 Dothan Police responded back to the same business after it was deternimed that nine more cars had been burglarized.


Dothan Investigators investigated the case and obtained twenty warrants for Unlawful Breaking and Entering of a Motor Vehicle on 34 year old Eddie James Richards Jr., of County Road 40 Abbeville.



On 12/01/15 Dothan Patrol Units located and arrested Richards on the outstanding warrants. Richards’ bond is $15,000.00 on each charge, totalling $300,000.00.


All persons arrested are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
