ALABAMA: It has been two years now that Ozark’s Charles Ward has served the State if Alabama as Colonel over the Alabama State Troopers.
Charles Ward started as a Trooper on the road. He worked his way through the ranks with the department.
It was about this time two years ago that Hal Taylor, Secretary of Alabama Law Wnforcement selected Charles Ward for the position of Colonel. The top man of the Alabama State Troopers.
Charles Ward is a man of honesty and integrity. He is a man who works. One day on the radio I hear DPS 1 to DOTHAN come over the radio. It was Colonel Ward stopping a vehicle. Some Troopers had been in a chase and lost the car. Colonel Ward spotted the car and followed until he had them
pinned in traffic at a red light. Then all
of a sudden blue lights appeared.
So Charles Ward is a man who will work.
Congratulations on your two years. Thanks to Hal Taylor for your selection of such a fine person to lead the Alabama State Troopers.
