Crestview Man Charged with Sexually Assaulting Juvenile 25 Years Ago

A Crestview man has been arrested on charges he sexually molested a young girl over a period ranging from 1993 to 1996. The victim says 61-year old Bobby Jelks Wilson started sexually assaulting her when she was just ten years old and it continued for several years, getting progressively more frequent and severe in nature.


The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office has charged Wilson with Sexual Battery on a victim under the age of 12. The victim had disclosed the sexual abuse to a witness and counselor over the years and both provided written statements.
