Enterprise Police Made Arrest in Last Night Shooting

ENTERPRISE ALABAMA:On May 25, 2021, at 6:52 PM, the Enterprise Police Department responded to a shooting at a residence in the 100 block of Lagoon Drive Enterprise, AL. Responding Officers discovered a male victim at the scene with multiple gunshot wounds.
The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene and has been identified as Amez Terrell Shipmon, age 32, of Enterprise, AL.
The shooting occurred after an altercation between the suspect and the victim. The suspect was apprehended after searching a wood line adjacent to the residence.
EPD Detectives arrested and charged Dorian Lamont Bell, age 41, of Enterprise, AL with Murder. Bell was transported to the Coffee County Jail after arrest. Additional charges are pending.
The Enterprise Police Department would like to thank the Dale County Sheriff’s Office, US Marshall Task Force, and the Coffee County Sheriff’s Office for their assistance in this investigation.
