FAKE FRIENDS Business Executives Reported Education and Workforce Training as the Top Issue in Alabama for Third Year in a Row

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Alabama business executives believe education and workforce training remains the top issue currently facing the state. Education and workforce training also ranked first in the 2016 and 2017 surveys.

Business executives are surveyed annually by the Center for Business and Economic Research (CBER) in The University of Alabama's Culverhouse College of Business on various topics related to issues facing the state and their respective companies.

Over 70 business executives participated in the latest survey in November 2018. The survey has been conducted since 2013 and asks for opinions of the Alabama Business Confidence Index™ (ABCI) panelists.

Former Dothan Mayor Mike Schmitz decided not to seek election as Mayor but as Dothan School Board Chairman.

In a little over a year he has embarked on a tremendous challenge of change in the education system in Dothan.

Many have fought him. Many has cursed him. Many of the "financial statement friends" ( you know like some at Dothan Country Club ) of which he thought were his friends have snobbed him and not even shaken his hand. And they were thought to be friends.

But as you can see from the article above. Education and Workforce Training are the top   two priorities currently facing the state.

Mike Schmitz went to work without a personal motive. He has no children or grandchildren in the school system. But he saw things as Mayor for Dothan to grow and proposper, things had to change. So he rolled up his sleeves and went to work.

THANKS to Mike Schmitz, the Dothan School Board and Dr. Edwards for doing what has not been done in my lifetime in Dothan Alabama. And that is rolling up your sleeves and start swinging to make things happen.

As to those who will not shake hands, are rude and rear ends, at least someone is trying. And most of you, your friendships are superficial friendships. And if the person's financial statement slips you are no friends at all.

In simple words - YOU ARE FAKE!
