ALABAMA: Jefferson County ( Birmingham ), the home to top notch medical care where people travel from all over - has become the number one murder city in Alabama.
Under the reigns of former Alabama Governor Robert Bentley's appointment for Alabama Attorney General, Steve Marshall, Alabama has become the 3rd highest per capita murder rate in the entire United States of America.
Just blocks from Alabama Attorney General Steve Marshall's desk a man was gunned down in the streets of Alabama Capital's city, Montgomery. Right after walking out of the Montgomery County Courthouse testifying in a murder trial.
And Alabama Steve Marshall has done nothing to help local law enforcement change the direction of the murders.
Registered Voters of Alabama, HELP IS ON THE WAY.
Former Alabama Attorney General Troy King has been sitting very quiet practicing law. But a group went to Troy King and said... Troy someone has to take the reigns of Alabama and get it under control. And you have proven you can do it. Will you run?
Troy King was in Dothan this week. He is the Republican Candidate for Alabama Attorney General. On June 5 many ask you to go and vote for Troy King for Alabama Attorney General.
FROM PATRICIA RILEY JONES
My mother, Ella Foy Riley, was murdered in Abbeville, May 21, 1990 by two men on drugs. I have known all the Attorney General's in office all these years.
Troy King was in office 2004 - 2010. He was the best ever served during my years in the Judicial Process that reached out to crime victims and law enforcement.
Troy King had meetings in the fall of each year with crime victims and law enforcement in separate meetings. He shared a lot of laws that needed changing or new laws passed. He let us vote on the top 5 and his office tried to get them passed in the spring during the Alabama Legislative Session.
In 2009, one of the men that murdered my mother came up for execution after 19 years and only two people could attend the executions. i had 5 brothers, so there was 6 of us that wanted to attend. That law to increase the number attending executions for victims families and inmates was given to the Legislature that spring and it passed and was signed into law 6 hours before the execution. Because of that me and my 5 brothers got to attend.
Attorney General Troy King also went to Atmore Alabama and supported our family.
The other inmate only got robbery charges and a life sentence. he came up for parole in 2010 after 20 years in prison. Attorney General Troy King attended the parole hearing with our family and protested for us. The parole was denied for 5 years.
Troy King reached out to crime victims the best of any Attorney General that I have ever known.
From Patricia Riley Jones...please vote for Troy King on June 5 for Alabama Attorney General.
