God in Shoes SPA Day for Women: Seeking clothing and shoes donations

On Monday December 3, 2018, The Women’s Ministries and the Temperance Division of Dothan First Seventh day Adventist Church will be sponsoring a “God in Shoes” program. The purpose of God in Shoes Ministry is to take a team of women and their resources to a designated area in the community to minister to women in need.

 

God in Shoes will have a SPA day for up to 100 women in partnership with DHR – Department of Human Resources, The Harbor House – Homeless Women and the House of Ruth. We need clothing and shoes of all sizes for women. The Dothan First Seventh day Adventist Church will accept clothes and shoes donations on the following days at their Community and Wellness Center located on 147 Picard Street, Dothan Alabama 36301. (The first church to the right pass the Houston County Health Department on cottonwood road).

·        Wednesdays – 6:00p.m. – 8:00p.m.

·        Saturdays – from 2:00p.m.- 5:00p.m.

 

We will accept all clothing/shoes donated, however many of these women are preparing for the workforce, and need clothing for interviews. Casual clothing and shoes will also be accepted in new or good condition. We would appreciate all donations by Saturday December 1, 2018.
