John John Steensland Takes Oath AS Circuit Court Judge

HOUSTON and HENRY COUNTY: Before a packed room in the Houston County Courthouse, John John Steensland was administered the Oath of Office as Place 1 Circuit Court Judge for the 20th Judicial Circuit, Houston and Henry County.
The oath was administered by Presiding Court Judge Larry Anderson.
Steensland will officially assume the duties next week.
John John Steensland is well known, of great character and wisdom, knowledge of the law, fair, patient and calm. He will serve the citizens in the 20th Judicial Circuit well as a Judge.
For 15 years he has been in private practice. He was in the firm with William White and Jim Parkman. John John's dad served more than 20 years as District Court Judge in Houston County before he retired.
Steensland took the oath while holding one of his 5 children, with his wife holding the Bible and all of his 5 children with he and his wife.
