Marianna Man Arrested and Charged eith Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute

Marianna Police Department were conducting a routine traffic patrol of the 4300 block of Lafayette Street. While patrolling this area, officers observed a white in color, Toyota pickup, traveling East on Lafayette Street at 56 mph in a 35-mph zone. A traffic stop was subsequently conducted on this vehicle.

The driver was identified as Marley Booker. A probable cause search of the vehicle was conducted. The search yielded a large amount of marijuana, a sum of cash, a scale, bags, and a loaded firearm.
?Mr. Booker had previously advised the officer that there were several ounces of marijuana in the vehicle which he did sometimes sell. Booker also stated that there was a firearm in the vehicle that did belong to him and he did not possess a concealed carry permit.

Booker was arrested and charged with Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute and Possession or Use of a Weapon in the Commission of a Felony.
