National Weather Service Surveys Tornado Damage in Geneva County

(Geneva County) - Today the National Weather Service from Tallahassee was in Geneva County to follow up on reports of a Tornado that touched down Tuesday evening just North of Harford. They were able to estimate that the damage was consistent with an EF-1 tornado with max estimated winds around 105mph. The tornado was on the ground for approximately 11 minutes, travelling the distance of 6.3 miles and was about 50 yards wide.
There were no injuries reported with the touch down.
