Remembering Brandon “BoBo” Thompson

One year ago today I placed this floral arrangement at the Angel of Hope for Brandon “BoBo” Thompson who received his Call Of Duty in Heaven by his Heavenly Father on December 26, 2014.
Brandon was born August 12, 1985 in Dothan, Alabama and graduated Rehobeth High School.
He excelled on the football field where he earned the Wiregrass Athletic Conference Player of the year award.
In 2003, Brandon was named in the Super Twelve as well as the Birmingham news First Team Honors while playing middle linebacker for Rehobeth High School.
For exhibiting exceptional leadership, professionalism and dedication Brandon was awarded the highest honor given at the Police academy, The Commanders Award on July 25, 2008.
Brandon served the Dothan Police Department for 6 years. He served as a patrol officer, a SWAT team member, and a K-9 officer.
Brandon also was certified as a trained FBI firearms instructor.
Brandon was awarded several medals, badges, and campaign honors while serving in the Army, these included honors such as; Afghanistan Campaign Medal with campaign star, Bronze Star medal, Army Achievement Medal, National Defense Service medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon, Armed Forces Reserve Medal, National Medal// Combat.
Everything Brandon did he did passionately.
He LOVES his family and friends and his son Landon Thompson.
