DOTHAN, Ala. (WTVY) -The former Houston County Emergency Management Agency chief of staff has pleaded guilty to reckless driving in Florida.
Rickey Stokes, charged with DUI, would have lost his driver’s license for at least six months had he been convicted of that charge.
An officer arrested Stokes on June 6, 2020 though two breathalyzer tests revealed his Blood Alcohol Content below .08, Florida’s legal limit. Officers are allowed discretion whether to file charges.
NOTE: The car did not belong to Houston County. It was a car donated by Houston County given to Cottonwood Rescue. It had been painted and Rickey Stokes rode with someone to Geneva to get the car after it had been painted.
