Search Warrant Lands One in Jail on Drug Charges

On 1/12/19 Derrick Hornsby Jr. from South Line Street was arrested for Trafficking Meth, Trafficking Cocaine, Possession of Marijuana 1st Degree, Distrubution of a controlled substance, Possession of a controlled substance, Possession of drug Paraphernalia, Attempting to elude, and resisting arrest.


Officers went to Hornsby’s residence to serve a Grand jury Indictment warrant and Hornsby tried to flee Officers on foot and was apprehended with 4060 Dollars cash, Meth, Cocaine, Loritab Pill, and marijuana on his person.


A search Warrant was obtained and executed and Trafficking amounts of Meth and Cocaine was inside his residence. Hornsby is being held in Geneva County Jail.
