Ten Year Old Heart Transplant Recipient Pays It Forward

Today is one of those special days that I will never forget.

A few months ago I started Cakes For Rylann after I was told

she was on a waiting list for a heart transplant.

In January Rylann received a new heart and a month and a half later she

wanted to help me make a cake for Cakes For Copeland.

So we spent the day together making a delicious homemade poundcake for

the Dothan Chief Of Police Steve Parrish who always supports every Cake fundraiser that I do for children.

Rylann got a nice surprise when Steve came to tell her thank you for making his delicious cake ( requested with a sad streak in it )

Then she got another big surprise when I gave Rylann her very own Kitchen Aid mixer in her favorite color.

But the greatest thing of all about today is Rylann Day, who’s only 10 years old and just had major surgery to get a new heart,

wanted to PAY IT FORWARD by baking a cake to help with the fundraiser for Copeland.

That is what I will never forget.

I love you Rylann...You have a brand new heart but you

ALWAYS had and STILL have a VERY LOVING AND GIVING HEART. ❤️🙏
