DOTHAN:     Thanks to Dothan Utilities for their quick and rapid response to the vehicle verses fire hydrant call tonight.

It is 48 degrees, cold and they are in the water getting it cut off and the fire hydrant fixed. On the scene with a backhoe and equipment to repair it. These crews are the ones that are out there and never get the credit.

But thank to each department, not just Dothan but to all utility companies for what you do.

Dothan Utilities and Wiregrass Electric are great to work with. They are quick to respond and handle the emergency.

You know when there is a car on fire or power line down on a vehicle the Utility Crews are the life saving emergency responders. So thanks for what you do.

BUT TO ALABAMA POWER you are absolutely the most awful power entity to work with. Your workers are great. But when there is an emergency, building on fire or power lines down on a vehicle, you never give estimated times of arrival.

The church fire reported in Cottonwood on Thursday. Never could get an estimated time of arrival. Fireman were finished and left and you still had never arrived on the scene.

You are going to get someone killed because of your attitude when called. It takes forever to get someone to the scene and never can get an estimated response time.

You need to be completely ashamed of yourself.

The utility workers are great when they appear. It is just getting them there.
