DOTHAN - NEWNAN GEORGIA:    In September 2020 a home on South Lena in Dothan was riddled by bullets all across the front of the residence.

From the north end to the south end of the front of the residence there were bullet holes lined all across the front.

The shooters killed a female, Christine Moore who was in the house at the time of the shooting.

Dothan Police were in the area in seconds following the 911 calls.

The investigation revealed the shooters were actually after someone else and Christine Moore lost her life because these individuals had no regard for human life and shot up the house.

Dothan Police Patrol Division and Criminal Investigators identified three suspects.

On September 16, 2020 Phillip Barkley was booked into the Houston County Jail by Dothan Police for Capital Murder, Attempted Murder, Shooting Into An Occupied Building. Barkley has been in the Houston County Jail since his September 16, 2020 arrest. Barkley has no bonds on Capital Murder and Attempted Murder, but bonds totaling $ 60,000.00 on two charges. But the bonds are a moot issue because of the two no bonds.

On September 19, 2020 Dontavion McCree was booked into the Houston County Jail by Dothan Police for Capital Murder, Two counts of Discharging A Firearm Into A Occupied Building, Attempted Murder, and a off bond for Domestic Violence - Strangulation-Suffocation. The Capital Murder is a no bond, but McCree has bonds totaling $ 115,000.00 on the other charges. While he has bonds on other charges, that is moot because he has no bond on Capital Murder.

Dothan Police searched for the third suspect, Ty’Shawn Markise Bryant. Apparently Bryant fled the Dothan area. Dothan Police signed arrest warrants for Capital Murder on Bryant and entered him into the National Crime Information Center ( NCIC ). This mean any law enforcement which ran Bryant through NCIC it would show he was wanted and dangerous.

Ty’Shaun Markise Bryant run ended yesterday when the United States Marshall’s Fugitive Task Force located him in Newnan Georgia and took him into custody.

Bryant will have a chance to sign extradition where he can voluntarily return to Dothan-Houston County. If he fights extradition then Alabama will seek a Governor’s warrant. Regardless of this decision, Bryant will return to Houston County and stand trial for the alleged offenses he is charged. Bryant will remain in the Houston County Jail, once he arrives, under a no bond for the Capital Murder charge.
