Traffic Stop Lands Two in Jail on Drug ChargesMatt Boster

On March 9, 2019, Officers with the Marianna Police Department conducted a traffic stop on a red Dodge Charger for failing to use headlights during period of reduced visibility in heavy fog.
Upon making contact with the driver, Ashley Holly, Officers detected the odor of marijuana. During a probable cause search of the vehicle, Officers located a plastic bag containing marijuana. Inside Ashley Holly’s purse Officers located a small metal container which had 8 Xanax pills inside of it.
Ashley Holly and her passenger, Andre Holly were both arrested and transported to the Jackson County Correction Facility to await first appearance.
