Traffic Stop Leads to Arrest in Holmes County

HOLMAS COUNTY: On July 10, 2024, deputies from the Holmes Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop on Highway 79 for observed traffic violations. During the stop, K9 Lasso was deployed and alerted deputies to the presence of illegal narcotics in the vehicle.


A subsequent search of the vehicle revealed marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and methamphetamine in a backpack belonging to passenger Kelly Ramos. Ms. Ramos was immediately arrested at the scene.



Kelly Ramos has been charged with the Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Possession of Marijuana.
