TRAILER FLIPPED AFTER RUNNING OFF ROADWAY

A travel trailer overturned Monday afternoon after the driver said he tried to dodge falling boxes from another vehicle. According to 35-year-old Christopher McCormick of Navarre, he was heading north on U.S. Highway 331 S. near Zaxby’s when some items fell off a vehicle in front of him.


McCormick reportedly swerved with his truck and caused the trailer to run off into the median. The travel trailer then overturned.


No injuries were reported, but the 2018 Prowler travel trailer sustained extensive damage. The driver was not charged.
