POPulus, Troy University’s American popular music ensemble, will be performing October 2nd, 2018 in part of TROY Tuesdays, a series of performances at the historic Dothan Opera House. This concert series is designed to bring the College of Communication and Fine Arts to the Wiregrass area.
POPulus will be performing a morning show for nearby Elementary, Middle, and High School students, and again that evening for the public and TROY Tuesday ticket subscribers. They will be playing a large variety of original works, covers, and songwriter showcases.
POPulus is an ambitious and diverse band comprised of Troy University students. Artists with a variety of stylistic backgrounds blend together and explore all genres of American popular music. With an array of talent, these Troy Music Industry students connect with audiences across genres, generations, and geographic borders. POPulus prides themselves on playing ‘your style of music.’
The evening performance on October 2nd begins at 7pm and is free and open to the public. Tickets will be available at the door the evening of. All are encouraged to attend and enjoy a night of live entertainment.
