COTTONWOOD: At 9:33 PM the 911 Center dispatched multiple Volunteer Fire, EMS and Cottonwood Police to a structure fire.
The fire was located at 5833 DHODGE Road. This road runs between State Line Road and Willie Varnum Road.
On the arrival of Cottonwood Rescue it was reported a working structure fire, single wide mobile home structure, smoke and flames visible. Cottonwood Rescue announced a verbal all clear in that occupants were outside the residence.
The first Volunteer Fire Engine company to arrive was Cottonwood Fire Engine 2. The volunteer fireman began an offensive attack on the structure.
On the scene along with Cottonwood Volunteer Fire, Lovetown Volunteer Fire, Hodgesville Volunteer Fire, Gordon Volunteer Fire, Madrid Volunteer Fire.
Cottonwood Police Pearson and Director of Public Safety Jim Smith were on the scene. The President of the Houston County Volunteer Fire Chief Association Jason Reneau was also on the scene.
The electric utility agency which services this location was requested to respond.
The fireman were able to get the fire under control but the single wide mobile home structure is a total loss inside.

10:21 PM Wiregrass Electric Co-Op has arrived on the scene and disconnected the power.
The scene was under the command of Cottonwood Volunteer Fire Chief Randy Hall.
