DOTHAN: Dothan Police responded to a report of an armed robbery at Andrews Bridle Shop. The suspect is a black male last seen wearing a ball cap and was armed with a handgun. The victim was struck by the suspect and Dothan Fire is responding to check them out.

Dothan Police, Dothan Fire and Pilcher Ambulance responded. There was an assault that occurred.

No patient was transported.

Dothan Police Patrol Sgt. Rice called for Dothan Police Criminal Investigation Division and Dothan Police Crime Scene Tech Investigators to respond.

Dothan Police Captain Will Benny was on the scene. Benny commands Vice and Criminal Inveatigation Divisikn.

Dothan Police has placed crime scene tape across Warrick Avenue at Montgomery Highway.
