UPDATED @ 2:26 PM 12:30 PM Multi Vehicle Crash with Multiple Injuries on 167 North of Hartford

GENEVA COUNTY: 12:25 PM    Multiple units from Hartford Fire-Rescue, Slocomb Fire-Rescue, Hartford Police are on the scene of a multiple vehicle accident on Hwy 167 North of Hartford near Wiregrass Electric. Reports are multiple injuries with trauma. Enterprise Rescue helicopter is also responding.

Before 1:30 PM the accident scene was being cleaned up. Enterprise Rescue Helicopter had already gone airborne transporting a trauma patient to a Dothan hospital.


While I only saw three vehicles while I was there, the initial reports were four vehicles. One could hve already left by wrecker.


There was heavy damage to all vehicles. Some patients were able to walk away from the accident after being checked by medics from Hartford and Slocomb.


Multi EMS agencies responded which are funded by the municipalities. YOUR GENEVA COUNTY COMMISSIONERS only funding each EMS by $ 1,000.00 a year ( $ 2.79 per day is all of the value YOUR GENEVA COUNTY COMMISSIONERS place on your life and emergency medical service ).


Hartford Police Department is in charge of the accident investigation.
