JACKSON COUNTY: This morning a motor vehicle accident on US 231 just South of County Road 162 has left one person dead. Multiple units from the Florida Highway Patrol are on the scene. Jackson County Fire Rescue responded to the call.
We have confirmed that one driver has been killed and the other drive had minor injuries. The cause of the crash is being investigated by the Florida Highway Patrol. No other information is available at this time.
We are withholding the scene photos pending the notification of next of kin.
