UPDATED at 4:13 PM. Henry County Sheriff's Deputies in Pursuit

HENRY COUNTY: At 10:25 AM... Houston County 911 dispatched Houston County Deputies due to a pursuit that was heading towards Houston County. A blue Nissan Passenger Car was refusing to stop and was driving at a high rate of speed.
A Houston County Deputies are advising Henry County has terminated the pursuit. Houston County Deputies are vising the vehicle has wrecked out at Third Ave and the Circle.
Dothan Fire and Dothan Police have been dispatched to a vehicle accident at that location due to the vehicle involved in the pursuit has rolled over.
Multiple Houston County Deputies are on the scene along with units from Dothan PD.

The driver of the blue passenger car has been taken into custody and will be checked out by Dothan Fire-Medics. The intersection at Third and the Circle is closed to all traffic until the incident can be cleaned up.

On March 7, 2021 Henry County Sheriffs Office attempted to make a traffic stop on US Highway 431 and County Road 9. The Vehicle refused to stop and Headland Police Department then assisted the Sheriffs office with the pursuit. Headland Police took over the pursuit on Ross Clark Circle. The fleeing vehicle wrecked at Ross Clark Circle and 3rd Avenue. After Vehicle inventory Officers recovered over 1 pound of Methamphetamine, 1 pound of Marijuana, Drug Paraphernalia and US Currency. Case was Turned over to Abbeville Police Investigator who is attached to the Henry County Task Force. As result of the incident Mr. Shamar Le’sean Lee 24 of Panama City Florida was arrested and charged with Drug Trafficking, Possession of Marijuana I, Attempting to Elude, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He was transported to Henry County Jail and has bonds totaling $506,500.00 and issued multiple traffic citations. Dothan Police Department and Houston County Sheriffs Office assisted with the incident.
