HOUSTON COUNTY: At 1:00 pm... Ashford Fire was dispatched to an Outdoor Fire on Garret Road. Ashford Fire is now requesting help from Lovetown fire, Cottonwood Fire are responding to assist with the fire. Ashford is requesting brush trucks.

The wind and dry conditions causing problems for fighting outdoor fires. Reports are the fire has now reached a structure.

UPDATED @ 2:56 PM...

Firefighter were able to get the fire under control, a small shed or barn in the woods was destroyed by fire. Thanks to the firefighters quick response the mobiles were saved. Firefighters from Ashford, Cottonwood, Lovetown and Cowarts responded. Ashford Rescue responded to standby incase of any problems with the firefighters.

NOTE: IT IS TO DRY, HOT AND THE HUMITIDY IS TO LOW TO BE BURNING.
