Warrant Arrest from a September Fatal in Walton County, Florida

Walton County, Florida:On Thursday, September 28, 2023 at 5:39 A.M., a crash occurred on U.S. Highway


90 near the intersection of Boy Scout Road in Walton County, Florida. During the crash, a 2010 Ford F150 driven


by Justin Echternacht was traveling eastbound when the truck crossed the center line and entered the westbound


lane. A 2019 Ford F150 driven by Driver 2 was traveling westbound. The front of the F150 driven by Echternacht


collided with front of the truck driven by Driver 2, he was pronounced deceased on scene. 


 


During the investigation, it was discovered that Justin Echternacht was under the influence of drugs and alcohol.


A warrant was applied for and issued for Echternacht out of Walton County. Echternacht turned himself into


Walton County jail where he remains with no bond.
