WEBB. . .Barbara Hasty Weeks, a resident of Webb, Alabama, passed away Monday, August 24, 2026, at her home. She was 86.

Funeral services will be held at 4:00 P.M. Friday, August 28, 2026, in the Holman-Headland Mortuary Chapel with Pastor Joe Wyatt officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:30 until 4:00 P.M. Friday at the mortuary in Headland. Burial will follow in the Webb Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Webb Methodist Church, P.O. Box 143, Webb, AL 36376.

Barbara Weeks was a lifelong resident of Webb, daughter of the late Berlie B. Hasty and Louise Ayer Hasty. She was a graduate of Houston County High School in Columbia and later received a B.S. Degree in Education from Troy University. Barbara retired from the Houston County Board of Education at Webb Elementary School as an Elementary School teacher. After retirement, she continued to serve children at Webb Elementary School. Barbara was an active member of Webb Methodist Church where she served as Chairman of the Pastor-Parish Relations Committee and was involved in all church activities. She was an avid fan of Braves baseball and SEC football and loved to play games. Her calling was serving others and especially enjoyed cooking for her family.

Surviving relatives include a daughter, LeEllen Hathcock (Ben), Dothan; a son Todd Weeks (Theresa Foxworth), Dothan; a loving brother, Halcot Hasty (Janet), Webb; sisters, Glenda Meadows, Columbia; and Becky Beech, Lillian, AL; grandchildren, Gage Weeks (Morgan), Logan Hathcock Pitchford (Thomas) and Anna Lee Hathcock; a great-granddaughter, M J Weeks; several nieces and nephews.

Serving as active pallbearers will be Gage Weeks, David Hasty, Dylan Hasty, Ben Hathcock, Thomas Pitchford and Robert Sanders.
