Becky Bedsole Johnson of Bonifay, FL, passed away on Monday, August 31, 2026. She was 62 years old.
A celebration of life service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 2, 2026, at Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home of Geneva, AL. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until service time.
Becky was born in Geneva, AL, on March 30, 1964, to Theron Norris Bedsole and Judy Kaye Bedsole. Becky had a remarkable talent for gardening, often referred to as having a green thumb, as she could nurture anything to grow. She loved to be in her garden and greenhouse, tending to all the beautiful flowers and plants. She had a knack for restoring old furniture, and turning thrifty finds into masterpieces. She was affectionately known as “Nanny” , a title she cherished above all others. She was her grandchildren’s biggest supporter; always showing up for each of them. They were her absolute pride and joy. She also had an unconditional love for all her “fur babies” as they were a big part of her life.
Becky was preceded in death by her father, Theron Bedsole and one brother, Bryan Bedsole.
Becky is survived by her loving husband of 18 years, Wayne Johnson; Her three children, Casey Day (Buckie) of Geneva , AL, Garrett Glisson (Randi) of Samson, AL, and Tanesha Johnson of Enterprise, AL; Her six grandchildren, Kaylee Pate (Braiden), Lynkin Raines (Haven), Gunner Glisson (Cecily), Molly Glisson, Braylen Johnson and Aaniyah Johnson; one great grandson, Truett Raines; Her mother, Judy Bedsole; her brother, Blayne Bedsole (Teresa) and one sister, Bonnie Luster (Bucky), all of Samson, AL.
