
Betty Faye Pippin
Betty Faye Pippin, a resident of Dothan, passed away on January 19, 2026, at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was 81.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, January 22, 2026, at Memphis Baptist Church with Dr. Jim Tate and Reverend Billy Rich officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior, from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m., at the church. Burial will follow in Memphis Baptist Church Cemetery with Glover Funeral Home Dothan directing.
Betty was born July 5, 1944, in Dothan, to the late Jessie & Inez Johnson Stringfellow. She attended Rehobeth High School & Cottonwood High School. Betty was married to the love her life for 65 years, Phillip “Pip” Pippin. After high school, she began a career in cosmetology and hairdressing, being mentored by her mother Inez. After Inez’s retirement, Betty took over the salon, owning and operating Inez’s Styling Salon before her retirement. She loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and was a faithful member of Memphis Baptist Church, teaching Sunday School and working with the youth. Her hobbies included cooking, shopping, fishing, and snorkeling. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is preceded in death by her parents; and her grandson, Zachary Sizemore.
She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Phillip “Pip” Pippin; her two daughters, Lorri Pippin Sizemore (Stevie), and Angie Pippin Knotts (Jeff) both of Dothan; her granddaughter, Lauren Ashley Gouge (Jacob) of Dothan; three great-grandchildren, Izzy, Merritt, and Griffin Gouge; her brother, Bobby Stringfellow (Jennie) of Auburndale, FL; several nieces, nephews, and many friends.
Serving as pallbearers will be Stevie Sizemore, Jeff Kelley, Joey Brown, Jacob Gouge, Jeff Brown, and Bruce Robinson.
The family would like to extend their great appreciation and love to the caregivers that took care of Mrs. Betty during this difficult time, Rose Horn, Destinee Harris, Gabby Granger, Pamela Wright, Joanna Caster, Norma Dent, and the whole staff at Dayspring Hospice.
