Betty Joyce Williamson Spires Harden, a resident of Enterprise, Alabama passed away Sunday, March 2, 2025, at Enterprise Health and Rehab. She was 90 years old.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, March 6, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at the Clayton Cemetery in Clayton, Alabama with Rev. Shane Traylor officiating and Glover Funeral Home directing. Flowers will be accepted.
Betty was born on April 27, 1934, in Clayton, Alabama to the late Jones and Lessie Kennedy Williamson. She worked for over fourty years as a seamstress at Van Heusen. In her spare time she enjoyed gardening, flowers, and baking.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband and father of her children, Quinn Lee Spires and husband, Charles Harden; four brothers, Bill Williamson, Robert Williamson, Walter Williamson, and Gerald Williamson; two sisters, Grace Smith and Ruth Eldridge; son-in-law, LaDon Smith.
Survivors include her son, Q. David Spires (Chris Phillips), daughter, Betty Lee Smith; brother, Don Williamson; four grandchildren, Michael Smith (Jasmine), Donna Lynn Smith Fulpher (Willie), Zachary Spires (Samantha), Quinn Lee Spires, II. (Kourtney); seven great-grandchildren, Alexis Lepley (Paul), Kendarius Green, Ethan Smith, Lauren Smith, Kylee Smith, Gabrielle Fulpher, and Madison Fulpher; Great-great grandchild, Aiden Lepley and several nieces and nephews.
