“Beverly Moss Hall, (Belle) a resident of Dothan, passed away on 01/12/2025. She was 83 years old..
She was preceded in death by her parents, Emett and Eurell Moss, and a daughter, Kecia Hall. She is survived by her sister, Kay Moss Johnson (Kenneth) of Birmingham and two granddaughters, Jessica Plummer and Sydney Childress, both of Dothan and numerous other relatives.
A graveside service in honor of her life will be held at 11 AM Friday, January 17, 2025 at the Memory Hill Cemetery, with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing.
In Lieu of flowers, Beverly asked that memorial donations be made to the Wiregrass Humane Society.
Beverly Hall graduated from Dothan High School and later obtained her BS from Judson College. She also received her Master’s of Library Science from Florida State University. She was a librarian whom worked at Houston Academy in Dothan before finishing her career as head librarian at the Army Aviation Technical Library at Fort Rucker (now Ft Novosel). She participated in special projects within the Library of Congress
Beverly was known for her wittiness and intelligence. She was passionate about reading and learning. She showed how big her heart was as she opened her home up to help raise her grandchildren after their parent’s death. Her 18-yr old dachshund, Lulu will always hold a special place in her heart.
The family would like to thank the staff of Wesley Place in Dothan for the care they showed Belle in the past few years of her life.
