Houston County Sheriff’s Office Receives Funding for Another K-9

HOUSTON COUNTY: This morning Houston –Henry County District Attorney Pat Jones presented Sheriff Valenza a Check to help pay for another K-9 for the Sheriff’s Office. This will bring the number to 8 K-9s.
Four of the dogs are trained in drugs, apprehension and tracking. The other four are blood hounds. They are trained to search for suspects, missing people and evidence.
This newest addition will put one of each dog and each shift.
