Britt Lewis Patterson, passed away on June 12, 2026, in Taylor, Alabama, at the age of 55.

Born on July 22, 1970, in Eufaula, Alabama, to the late Earlie Patterson and Mary Anne Thurman Patterson. Britt lived a life marked by quiet strength, steady devotion, and a strong work ethic. Britt carried himself with humility and kindness, and he was respected for the dependable way he approached both work and family life.

Britt spent several years working at Southeast Health, where he was valued for his reliability and dedication. He later worked at Home Depot, continuing to serve others with the same steady commitment that defined so much of his life. In every role he held, Britt was known as a hard worker who could be counted on to do his part with care and consistency. His coworkers and acquaintances came to appreciate his quiet nature and the sincerity with which he carried out his responsibilities.

Outside of work, Britt found enjoyment in baseball and sports. He appreciated the energy, competition, and tradition that came with the games he followed. These interests brought him moments of enjoyment and reflection, and they were among the simple pleasures that enriched his life. Britt was a quiet man by nature, but those who knew him understood that his reserved manner reflected thoughtfulness, loyalty, and a deep appreciation for the people and things he valued most.

Family was an important part of Britt’s life. He was married to Sarah Salisbury for nine years, and their time together was a meaningful part of his journey. He is also survived by his brother, Ray Patterson (Tammy); his niece, Bronwin; and his nephews, Brandon and Brock. Britt’s family remembers him with love and gratitude for the many ways he showed his care, even when words were few.
