Camelia Berry Pettis, aged 70, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, January 31, 2026.

Camelia was born in Dothan, AL on November 19, 1955. In her free time, she enjoyed being with her family, fishing, tending her flowerbeds, crocheting, and caring for her beloved “fur babies,” who brought her much happiness.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jimmy Ladon Pettis; her father, Joe Earl Berry; her mother, Sarah Griffin Hughes; her sweet granddaughter, Molly Pettis; and her brothers, David Berry and John Howell.

She is survived by her daughter, Melissa Parrish (Linley) of Bonifay, FL; her three sons, Johnathan Pettis (Stacie) of Geneva, AL, Jason Pettis (Amy) of Geneva, AL, and Joe Pettis (April) of Opp, AL. Her memories will also be cherished by her 10 grandchildren, Andrew Armstrong (Kelsey), Allison Armstrong, Kylee Parrish (Justin), Logan Parrish (Jonna), Colton Pettis (Nikki), Reagan Pettis, Jimmy Pettis, Paige Pettis, Tristen Pettis, and Haylen Pettis; 10 great-grandchildren; her stepmother, Mary Berry, and brothers Dennis Berry, James Howell, Randy Berry, and Ronald Berry. She also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews, who will miss her deeply.
