Charles “Charlie” Richard Robinson III of Newton, Alabama passed away Sunday, January 25, 2026, at the age of 79. Charlie was born in Huntington, West Virginia to Charles Robinson, Jr. and June Allen Robinson.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Michael Allen Robinson. He is survived by close friends who became family, Brittney Jordan (Michael) and their children, Brandy Jordan and Brooklynn Jordan, as well as friends, Aaron Green and Desiree Thomas.
Charlie proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. He was a simple man who found happiness in life’s everyday moments sitting on his front porch, enjoying a cold drink, and watching the world go by. A devoted sports fan, he loved the University of Miami Hurricanes, the Miami Dolphins, Marshall University, and watching just about any sport that came on the television.
Charlie will be remembered for his quiet nature, his love of sports, and the friendships that became his chosen family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
