PINCKARD. . .Cherri Edwards Green, a resident of Pinckard, Alabama, died Saturday afternoon, June 7, 2025, at her home. She was 82.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, June 10, 2025, in the Holman-Headland Mortuary Chapel with Reverend Hilary Stewart officiating. Burial will follow in the Pinckard Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 P.M. Tuesday at the mortuary in Headland.
Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to a favorite charity.
Mrs. Green was born and reared in Pinckard, daughter of the late William Rex Edwards and Maurine Benton Edwards. She was a graduate of Midland City High School and Riley Business College. Mrs. Green retired as the owner and operator of Cherri Green Realty. In earlier years, she was employed by Mikie Walding Realty in Ozark as a Broker and Office Manager. Mrs. Green was a member of Pinckard Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by a son, Randy Errol Green.
Surviving relatives include her husband, Jack Errol Green, Jr., daughters, Kelli Klingler Harris, Pinckard; and Karol Ann Boulware (James), Opelika; a son, Raymond L. “Bo” Kinsey (Jackie), Webster, FL; daughter-in-law, Lora Green, Kingsport, TN; sisters, Sally Edwards Everett (Ronnie), Pinckard; and Dixie Bryan (Bobby), Montgomery; a brother, Bill Edwards (Wanda), Pinckard; grandchildren, Anna Harrell (Jake), Katherine Jones, Nathan Boulware (Tabitha), Brittany Truitt, Drew Boulware (Sarah), Taylor Colley (Justin), Mathew Kinsey (Sarah) and Kyle Kinsey; great-grandchildren, Tanslee Boulware, Anna Kate Boulware, James Jones, Emory Harrell and Jackson Harrell; several nieces and nephews.
Serving as active pallbearers will be Jason Everett, William Edwards, Ross Milner, Nathan Dockery, Drew Boulware and Nathan Boulware. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Bill Edwards, Ronnie Everett, Bobby Bryan and Jimmy Jones.
