An 11-year-old child was dropped off with a gunshot wound at Flowers Hospital just before 4 p.m. Wednesday.
Initial reports indicate the shooting possibly occurred on Fox Valley Drive, but this is unconfirmed.
The circumstances leading up to the injury are unclear.
