On Sunday July 7th 2013, at 1976 South Oates St, Dothan, Ala, from 2-4pm. ( we are in the rear of The Copies 2 Go Building). We will began hosting transitional-morale support for anyone who has been released from confinement. The meetings will involve some spiritual reference from The Bible. Without Jesus Christ and His Teachings, I would not have been able to make a successful transition and remain successfully free from confinement. We are not a church we are a transitional support ministry. Topics of discussion will include our mission, services offered by our organization, testimonies from ex-offenders who have successfully reintegrated society, and highlight solutions for overcoming reentry barriers. If anyone is interested in supporting this effort please email or phone me at the number listed below.
Our Mission
The Keener Foundation’s mission is to assist ex-offenders or individuals transitioning out of forms of confinement with reentry support and guidance, and to provide institutions, agencies, churches or non-profits with reentry consultant services to better serve their clients. We work hard to inform the public of the societal impact of recidivism, inspire the faith based community to include reentry support initiatives, reduce inter-generational criminality and incarceration, and to network with employers to create second chance job opportunities- resolve hiring barriers. Our goal is to also inform elected officials of the societal commonalities surrounding reentry, in order to gain unified support for reintegration programs and initiatives
Vision of Partnership
The Keener Foundation, through unified partnerships, desires to match our vision and inspiration with viable-programs and spiritual solutions to ensure the successful reentry for ex-offenders or individuals pre/post release from confinement.
